Hello dear readers! Are you in the mood to read another beautiful wedding story? Our JoSaBi Shyntia was the sweetest human and a very creative bride to boot. She added a unique element to her stunning wedding look. The result was a very versatile wedding dress with detachable sleeves that worked perfectly for her whole wedding day, from the church pew to the dance floor!

JoSaBi Shyntia had several elements that made her heart go pitter-patter, and she worked with the JoSaBi Mariées team to infuse them into a one-of-a-kind gown that would be perfectly HER. She was a glamorous fashionista (and former beauty queen), who wanted a heavy dose of beading to add plenty of drama to her gown. She was in love with the idea of a sparkly skirt too. Above all, she really wanted to have the option to stay covered for church but still look alluring for the reception. We had our work cut out for us.

The Brief
JoSaBi Shyntia’s dream dress was a mermaid wedding gown with detachable sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and heavy beading, an off-shoulder look for the reception but long sleeves for church, a sparkly skirt, and an elegant back.
The Design Process
JoSaBi Shyntia shared all the above ideas with us, and we put our heads together to create magic.
We quickly made sketches for the different potential looks we were looking at. Our sweet bride was in awe, no fundamental changes were needed!
So we kicked off her dress. The lace work for this dress was very detailed and required several weeks, so we kept our bride informed by sending her photos and videos along the way. As soon as JoSaBi Shyntia confirmed every detail, the team would carry on.
Then came the fun part: delicately placed rhinestones, beads, and pearls were added on top of the lace in a way that made it really POP. We really wanted to infuse the gown with her gorgeous personality, and a custom beading blend was the way to go. Synthia loved every video we sent her way. She was often at a loss for words!
In parallel, we were also working on a seamless jacket that, when placed on top of the gown, would just make it look like a long sleeve dress. We also added built-in off-shoulder sleeves that would shine during the reception.
Finally, the final videos were ready and sent, and our gorgeous gown was sent to meet her bride. Synthia actuallyrecorded the unboxing of her dress, and there was not one single dry eye in the room when we watched the video! Her dress fit her spectacularly too, and no alterations were needed.

JoSaBi Shyntia got married in Alabama. She looked divine, and her accessories completed her look to perfection: a gorgeous pin in her hair, sparkly jewels, a lovely bouquet, and of course, her amazing wedding dress with detachable sleeves.
